This looks amazing. i love the thickness of the chocolate and that it does not look just like a small smooth layer. Did you mention Kerri Russel and chocolate pie? Count me in.

And! I agree that Waitress was real cute. I would definitely recommend the Pushing Daisies TV series…it has pie and an adorable plotline.

I think it’s a surprise chocolate pie because looking at the rich color and thickness of a piece, I’m expecting a sharp or overpowering sweetness. But the chocolate flavor is subtle… meaning I can eat a piece or two and not feel guilty…haha

You’re hilarious!!! I love what you said about the “lost” art haha. I’m definitely not a wuss; I would add gobs of freshly-whipped cream and vanilla ice cream! YUM!

I love the leaves that you put on top! A great touch! I’d forgotten about Waitress. I think I’ll have to go rent it and watch it again. Another good one is the Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio. Not so much cooking, but a great movie all the same.
