Well, another year has rolled by and it’s the Year of the Dragon. I realize it has been a LONG while since I’ve turned up here at Foodrepublik. I’ve decided to stop updating this blog. Not that I didn’t have a great time doing [...] It’s HOT right now. As in, 75 degrees F (23 C). And it’s mid-January. Oh how I love living on the Central Coast. In Toronto right now it’s 21 F (-6 C) and snowing. This past weekend we had a bonfire on the beach, [...] This weekend we went to a HUGE wet market in Xiamen to pick up some fresh fish. I’ve been watching Bravo’s Top Chef, and in one of the episodes, all the contestants had to cook a different kind of fish. Now, to be honest, [...] |
